#08000 Heatmaster Exhaust shield size 5″ x 10″ size (up to 2500 Degrees F)

RV engines generate extreme heat, and exhaust temperatures can quickly transfer into the interior of the coach. To reduce cabin heat, measure the exhaust pipe underneath—specifically the section closest to the bottom of the driver or passenger engine cover. Common sizes are around 5″ x 10″, but always measure to be sure.

We custom-fabricate a heat shield to your measurements, install grommets for easy mounting, and ship it flat with the necessary straps. Once received, simply curve (bow) the shield to fit around the exhaust pipe or catalytic converter. Most orders ship within a couple of days.

For best performance, the shield should wrap from the left side, across the top, and down to the right side halfway—leaving the bottom open. This design allows heat to escape downward while preventing it from rising into the interior.
